Pentax 67 & Portra 400 - Shooting a Period Correct Porsche 912
I normally try to bring a film camera with me on most shoots, whether it be my Pentax 67 or the more manageable Mamiya 6. There’s something incredibly special about shooting only on film, and this photo set captures exactly what a regular digital camera can’t. Leaving my digital Fuji at home, along with remembering to bring my remote shutter release, was the best decision I could’ve made. Although I was stuffed in the back of this tiny 912, which was clearly not intended to hold 2 full-sized humans, it’s one of the most fun times I’ve ever had on a shoot. If you have a chance to do a shoot entirely on film and leave your digital at home, I wholeheartedly recommend it. I hope you enjoy the photos below! You can find more of this car on my Instagram as well, @tjl_petrol.
